In order to focus on Gran Turismo 5, Gran Turismo HD has been officially cancelled. Though a free concept playable version of GTHD will be available for download via the Playstation Network on December 24th. On the Japanese PSN that is. The Official Playstation Website says that this download will feature 10 cars, 1 track, network ranking, time attack, and drift trial mode.
Also of note is that Polyphony now lists Gran Turismo 5 as a "Online Car Life Simulator".
