EA has announced that Fight Night Round 3 for the PS3 this holiday season.
The release will include exclusive gameplay features not found in the X360 release.
"Gamers loved the realism of EA Sports Fight Night Round 3 when it was released on X360 because of its incredible next-gen graphics and gameplay," said Michael Blank, producer, EA Canada. "With EA Sports Fight Night Round 3 for PS3, we want to give gamers an exciting and unique gameplay experience that will take the realism of Fight Night even further by allowing players to live the game through their own eyes. This is the closest you'll get to trading blows with Muhammad Ali".
New features will include a mode called Get in the Ring. No futher details were provided in the company's press release.
Fight Night Round 3 debuted as a PS3 tech demonstration the 2005 Electronic Entertainment Expo. Oddly enough, the game debuted on the X360 first to showcase the title's insane boxing detail.
In addition, EA is scheduled to drop new versions of Madden NFL, Tiger Woods PGA Tour, and Need for Speed for the PS3 at launch.
