PS3 Nudged, Wii Absent From CNET’s Weekly Hit List.

The PS3 was nudged and the Wii remains absent on CNET’s Weekly Hit List, a top twenty of hot electronics based on consumer clicks.Sony’s PS3 fell one spot from No. 10 to No. 11 this week. The Playstation successor has maintained a healty 64 weeks on the list to remain in the ‘Still Warm’ section.

By comparison, Wii is absent on the countdown for the fifth week in a row. The innovative new console dropped out of the top twenty in late July after 59 weeks on the list. It last charted at No. 18.

Overseas, the PS3 and Wii are neck and neck in the latest Amazon Japan customer research data. The online division holds the Wii slightly ahead of the 60GB version of the PS3 in popularity. The 20GB PS3 is the least popular.

The PS3 will drop to North America on Nov. 17 for $499 and $599. Wii will be released in the fourth quarter for under $250.
